The Escapology Birthday Package is the ultimate "escape" from reality and fun adventure. Our birthday packages start at 8 players (more can be added) and include a private party room (or the lobby area party space), a host, escape rooms starting at the same time (each game holds up to 10 players), pizza, all paper products, wristbands, and a lot of fun! What is included in the Birthday Party Package?
We include enough pizza for 2 slices per participant, all paper products, escape games, and a host in our private party room (or lobby area if the private event room is booked). You may bring in a cake, water (or other drinks) and additional cold snacks if you would like as well as additional decorations too.
What are the age limits?
Our Birthday Package are available for all ages! All of our games are designed for ages 7 and up. Under the age of 12, we suggest a parent in the game with them to help out and have fun too! Adults are always welcome to play with child parties as well!
How long is the party?
The birthday package party length is 2 hours long including escape game time.
Are drinks included in your Birthday Party Package?
Drinks are not included but you are more then welcome to bring in water, soda, juice or BYOB.
Do you have party favors available?
Yes! We have our fun EXIT: THE GAME Escape Room Board Games available for purchase at $14.99, our Escapology T-Shirts are available for just $19.99 each and our Escapology Cog Pins are available for just $5.99 each! Plenty of options to leave your guests with something special from their experience at Escapology!
How much are additional players?
If you have more players than is included in your package, the charge is only $25-$41.99 per person (discounted for up to 16 players) which includes enough pizza for everyone (2 slices per player is ordered).
If we book with 8 players can we add players later? If we book with more players can we reduce the players later?
Yes and yes! We are flexible with planning your event. During the week prior to your event, usually just a few days before, we will call or email to confirm all your party details and player counts for your food order and games. Once we confirm your event, your minimum will be set and you can always add players later. However, prior to that you may increase or decrease your party size as needed!
What times are available for a party?
Our birthday times vary by the day and our game availability. Once you confirm a date and time of interest we will check availability and let you know what we have for you!
Can we bring food?
We do not allow you to bring in any hot food but you may bring in additional snacks like chips, pretzel bites, water, juice boxes, and soda. You can also bring in a cake and we have a Refrigerator and a Freezer to hold your cakes if needed!
Can we order more food?
Yes! We can order you more pizza pies and other hot food items like chicken fingers, french fries and food for adults if requested too. Please ask to see our pizza add on catering menu for birthday parties.
Are any of your games too scary or hard?
No! All of our games are family-friendly and designed to be played by ages 7 and up (under 12 with an adult). We do not have any scary items in our rooms and all of our game difficulty levels can be scaled down to help our younger players. We do recommend adults in games for children under 10 to help and have fun but they will be charged the same price to play.
How many people can play in one game?
Each of our game rooms can accommodate up to 10 players at once. When you have more than 10 players, we reserve another game to accommodate your group. Whenever you have multiple games, the group is split into teams and the games will start at the same time. It's always a fun competition to see who can escape the fastest too! Our birthday package includes one game per every 10 players.
Can we reserve another game?
Yes! If you have 20 players, your package includes 2 games. However, if you would like another game, the minimum to reserve one is 2 players at our normal price for that game. Additional players can be added at any time depending on game availability!
Do we need an adult in the room?
We recommend having one adult in the game room with any children under the age of 10. However, we do not require it and our game masters will take the time to help out all of our younger players if needed.
Which games do you recommend?
Our three most popular games for birthday parties are Scooby-Doo, Antidote and The Code. Saving Santa (when available) is also a very popular game for parties with a REAL Santa (Shhh...don't tell them!) However, any games can be played!
Can other adults participate in the games?
Yes! Our birthday packages can be a combination of kids and adults for the included players. Each game holds up to 10 players but can sometimes be pushed to 11 players per game.
Can we watch the kids play the game if we don't participate?
Yes! Our private party room includes a TV that has the footage from the game rooms on it. You can watch the kids play for the whole hour (with no audio so it doesn't ruin the game for anyone!). *PLEASE NOTE - if you have booked a Lobby Party, this TV is not included in your package.
How long are the games?
Our games are 60 minutes long and the entire experience is about 1:10 minutes with the briefing videos and the post-game photos.
Can we bring adult beverages?
Yes! Adults are welcome to BYOB. Beer and Wine are welcome, just no hard alcohol is allowed. If you need ice we can provide it for you for $6 per bucket.
What is the Gratuity for your Game Hosts and Game Masters?
All birthday parties include a 15% automatic gratuity for your game masters and game hosts.
What if we want to play Scooby-Doo, Mansion Murder, Pirate's or Saving Santa?
Scooby-Doo, A Pirate's Curse and Saving Santa (when available seasonally) is an additional $50 premium game cost and Mansion Murder is an additional $30 premium game cost to include in your birthday package. All other games carry no additional cost.
Do you have a Pirate themed Birthday Party Package?
Yes we do! We offer an upgrade to our birthday party packages for just $150. Upgrade your birthday package with our newest and most advanced premium escape room " A Pirate's Curse!" This package includes pirate-themed tableware, bandanas, eye patches, a small treasure chest with coins/gems, and the premium game cost is already included for up to 10 players!
What about waivers, does every child under 18 need to sign one?
No! Only the event host needs to sign ONE waiver for each escape room booked for all minors under 18. Anyone over 18 must sign their own waiver if they are playing a game and that is done on the in-store iPads.

Q: What is Escapology?
Escapology is the world’s largest and fastest-growing escape room franchise. In our escape games, your team of up to eight players will complete a specific mission in a fully themed, immersive game room - that’s always private for just your group. During your thrilling 60-minute experience, you’ll be immersed in a real-life adventure with fun surprises around every corner. Coming to Escapology means experiencing our premium escape rooms, beautiful lobbies, and 5-star experiences. You’ll find hidden clues, crack codes, solve challenging puzzles… and try to escape before the clock runs out!
Q: What is the experience like?
You’ll want to allow 90 minutes for your entire experience at Escapology. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your start time. The game itself lasts 60 minutes (though you might escape sooner than that)! After time runs out, your Game Host will debrief your team and take a complimentary group photo.
Q: What skills do I need to play?
Our games are designed with the assumption that all players understand written and spoken English. No other special skills or knowledge are required to play…and win!
Q: Can I leave in the middle of a game?
For a fully immersive experience, we recommend that you remain in the room until you escape but we understand that you may need to use the restroom or exit the room for another reason. For safety’s sake, all our rooms stay unlocked throughout every game. In the unlikely event of an emergency, you are free to exit at any time.
Q: What if we need help during the game?
You can ask your Game Master for as many hints as you need. They’ll be carefully monitoring your group’s progress from Mission Control and can give you hints, nudges, or guidance if you’re stuck and don’t know what to do next.

Q: How do I book a game?
Click the BOOK NOW button from anywhere on our site to select your nearest Escapology location. You’ll be directed to that location’s list of games. From there, it’s easy to choose and book your escape room. You can also call us if you have questions or want to reserve your game over the phone.
Q: What is the difficulty level for the escape room games?

Q: What if I arrive late?
As a courtesy to all Escapologists, our games start exactly at their published time. If you arrive late, you can still play for the time remaining in your scheduled 60 minutes. Please plan to arrive at least 20 minutes before your game time so you can check in and get set up for your game to start right on schedule.
Q: Are cell phones allowed?
You’re welcome to use your cell phone in our lobby during the check-in process. Once it gets close to game time, we’ll show you where you can store your phones while you play. To keep our games fun for everyone and not ruin any puzzle solutions, photography and filming with cell phones, electronic devices, and other outside tools are strictly prohibited in the escape rooms.
Q: Will we really be locked in the room?
No. For everyone’s safety, our escape rooms always remain unlocked. That said, our 5-star rooms are so immersive that you might feel like you’re really locked in. Just know that you’re free to step out at any time.
Q: Are your games accessible to those with disabilities?
Yes. Escapology is proud to provide an experience where everyone can play and escape. Depending on your choice of game, some players may benefit from assistance with certain puzzles. Please contact us with any accessibility-related questions or requests.
Q: Is there a dress code?
Come (play) as you are! So you can fully focus on the fun, we do recommend comfortable clothing and footwear.
Q: How do Escapology gift cards work?
Gift cards are valid at the venue where the card was purchased. To redeem your gift card, please call the venue to redeem over the phone or book online by choosing the location the gift card was purchased from, and entering the coupon code at checkout.
